After Assignment

The after assignment will be preparing a Facilitation Guide with the TIX intern. The Facilitation Guide will be a document for the trained facilitators at Mines to use during the whole restorative justice process. It will include background information, information on the restorative justice process, explanations of the different types of conferences, scripts, forms, and more.

The learning objectives are to:

1. Understand how the Title IX office at Mines functions to provide support for students.

2. Understand the purpose of restorative justice on campuses and in the context of Title IX initiatives.

3. Understand how to tailor policy for specific communities.

This was written specifically for trained facilitators at Mines. However, it could also be used by other schools or groups looking to implement restorative justice on campus.
